12 years ago, my citizen sibling sponsored my younger sister and her husband.
At the time, my younger sister received her green card, but her husband did not — because of two DUI records from a long time ago.
I’d like to know if they have to keep living like this, or what options exist.

However, since your sister already has her green card, her husband can apply for a waiver as the spouse of a green card holder or citizen.
