I’m raising a child on DACA — I’d like to know if there’s any option.
My child is on DACA, and my spouse and I are out of status. I’d like to know if there’s any option available in our current situation.

If your child applies for and holds DACA quickly, within 180 days of high school graduation, there’s still an opportunity to pursue employment-based immigration. Of course, this requires that the Advanced Parole re-entry-guarantee program be open. Since it opens occasionally, prepare in advance, then go to Korea for the interview, receive the immigrant visa, and proceed toward obtaining a green card after entering. After that, once your child becomes a citizen, they can also sponsor you as parents. We wish you the best.
